Our DPDP 2023 Commitment

Allelic is fully compliant with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act). This document explains our specific compliance measures.

Data Principal Rights

As a Data Principal, you have the following rights which we fully support:

Right to Access: You can request a complete copy of your personal data held by us at any time through your account settings.

Right to Correction: You can correct inaccurate personal data through your profile or by contacting our support team.

Right to Erasure: You can request deletion of your personal data. Note that we may retain data required by law or for legitimate business purposes for a defined period.

Right to Withdraw Consent: You can withdraw consent for specific data processing activities. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.

Consent Framework

All data processing at Allelic is consent-based:

  • We obtain explicit consent before collecting genetic data
  • Consent is granular — you choose what to share and with whom
  • Consent records are maintained with timestamps and scope
  • Purpose limitation — data is used only for consented purposes
  • Data Localization

All personal data, including genetic data, is stored within India as required by the DPDP Act. We do not transfer genetic data outside Indian jurisdiction.
